General
Nice river with plenty of visitor (swinging) moorings. There is a dinghy dock on the south side of the river, on the western tip of the bay that has the yacht club at its head. This small pontoon is privately owned, and there is an honesty box that it would be polite to put 50p in.

Exploring
The path leads along the coast for 1/4 mile or so, ending up at the pub which does some excellent steaks on an outdoor grill. Well worth a visit, especially if you narrowly avoided sinking on the way in.
