Latest Information
Marina is very silted up (Oct 2006)
[edit]
General
Welcoming marina, visitors berth immediately inside gate to Starboard.
You will find no difficulty getting to the waiting pontoon (one space - behind the lifeboat) with no less than 1.5 metres throughout.
There is a considerable swirl from the sluices which makes getting alongside difficult but scours out a hole with at least 2 metres LWS at the pontoon.
The gates open up to HW +/- 4 but the eclusier told me that the bridge is only opened HW +/-3 because of concerns about the shallow water in the channel.
Furthest from facilities (new just being built) but very convenient for Lidl supermarket (100 metres). Nothing too much trouble for office staff.
