There are plenty of islands in the Ionian sea, which makes for an easy and pleasant among cruise some of the most picturesque places in Greece.

Corfu is the bigger and the most vital of the Ionic islands, full of formidable Roman and Ottoman palaces of the Venetian epoch and plenty of museums.

The sea between the island and the Albanian coast is ideal for sailing thanks to the always present fresh breezes. Even during depressions, unless fairly severe, wave height is moderate and manageable.
