Dun Laoghaire ( pronounced Dun Leary ) is the main leisure and yacht port serving Dublin and the surrounding area. Set on the Southside of Dublin Bay, within 8 miles of the City Centre and adjacent to direct link rail services. Dun Laoghaire is an ideal stop over for boats making passage. 24 hour operation with security card access. The Stena High Speed Ferry departs daily from Dun Laoghaire Harbour to Holyhead.
Opened in March 2001, Dun Laoghaire Marina has over 500 berths. Boats of up to 25 metres overall length and up to 40 tonnes can be accommodated. All pontoons and walkways are automatically lit and have the full range of life saving and fire fighting equipment. The main piers have safety ladders.
