General

http://www.cramondboatclub.org.uk/ A picturesque harbour with pub and restaurant. The Club members are welcoming to visitors. Lovely local walks. This is not quite a drying harbour as a weir holds back 1m of water for the moorings and less at the wall. Take advice from a club member for the best place to lie.

Approaches, Routes and Navigation

Somewhat daunting for the first-timer but the yacht skipper eventually arrives at the weir and a reassuring tide guage before entering the tiny harbour. An openboat ferry criss-crosses the river. See http://www.cramondboatclub.org.uk/index.cfm?page=pilotage for an authoritative guide.

Alternative approaches from the NW and NE are available but you may wish to survey these from shore, and take advice from club members first.
