General

Fidra is an interesting semi-wild island offering sheltered anchorages and a jetty.

Approaches, Routes and Navigation

Approach is clear from W through N to E as all is steep to apart from North Dog which should be given adequate clearance. Do not attempt to pass S of island as SW of South Dog is shallow. You may get a small yacht up to the jetty but best survey first by dinghy, then take all due caution.
